The biggest air show in Romania - Bucharest International Air Show & General Aviation Exhibition (BIAS) takes place Saturday, 21 June 2014, on Bucharest International Airport Băneasa – Aurel Vlaicu and is organized by the National Airports Company Bucharest, the Romanian Airfield, ROMATSA, ROMAERO and the AIBO Sports Club.

The sixth edition of the most impressive aviation show in Romania brings together this year 100 of civilian and military aircraft in aerial evolutions and exposed to the public, but also over 100 of elite pilots and paratroopers.

At the air show it evolves: Baltic Bees, the Latvian band with a unique piloting style in the world, performing artistic maneuvers of maximum difficulty, Jurgis Kayris, world champion in aerial acrobatics, Flying Bulls, artists of the acrobatic flight, but also Luca Bertossio, world champion in acrobatics with the glider.

During the event, the names of the elite of the aerial acrobatics of Romania also evolve: Romania's club, Acrobatic chess players, TAROM, Hawks of Romania, Tricolor Eagles, The Pelicans, White Wings, along with the Blue Wings Paratroopers. Also, at the air show evolve aircraft belonging to the aviation structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Romanian Intelligence Service.

The BIAS 2014 is attended by professionals from the elite of the Romanian Air Force, on the aircraft sleeve MIG 21 Lancer, IAR 99 Shoim, IAR 316, IAK 52, IAR 330 PUMA and C 130 Hercules. Viewers will also be able to watch the air police and air raid support exercises carried out by the Air Force.

Băneasa Airport hosts, on Friday and Saturday, within BIAS 2014, the third edition of the general aviation exhibition - General Aviation Exhibition, where dozens of civil and military aircraft are exhibited, from ultralight aircraft to business jets.

Also at BIAS NOTHING spectators have the opportunity to see on the ground, in the General Aviation Exhibition, MIG 21 Lancer, Spartan C271, IAR 99 Shoals, a Puma M military helicopter, but also fighting technique: radars, ground-to-air missile launch systems, etc. .

BIAS 2014 ends on Saturday evening, when, starting with 22.00, the band Cristi Minculescu & Nuţu Olteanu Super Grup will hold a super-concert at Băneasa Airport.

The official pilot training takes place on Friday, June 20, when the press conference preceding BIAS 2014 is also organized. The conference will take place at 11.00, at the stand of the Bucharest Airports National Company, within the General Aviation Exhibition, at the Baneasa Aurel Vlaicu International Airport in Bucharest.

Entrance to BIAS 2014 is free. Access is through Romaero. Parking is not guaranteed!
