On April 30, 2020, 2 Qatar Airways planes collided in Doha due to strong winds. The incident took place on the ground, and the main culprit was the wind, which blew in gusts of up to 110 km / h (61 knots).

The aircraft Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (A7-BCT) was pushed into a Airbus A350-900 XWB (A7-ALJ). The Dreamliner suffered "bot" damage, while the A350 XWB suffered damage to the right side of the fuselage. Both planes were parked on the ground.

Such incidents also occurred at other airports in April. An Airbus A350-1000 British Airways collided lightly with an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER at Dubai International Airport (DXB).

A similar incident occurred at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG), where the Airbus A350-900 Cathay Pacific collided with a parked Boeing 777-300ER. Both aircraft were damaged.
