At the Farnborough Airshow 2018, easyJet marked the reception of the first Airbus A321neo by a special flight. It is configured in a class with 235 seats.

At the Farnborough Airshow 2018, easyJet marked the reception of the first Airbus A321neo by a special flight. The flight crew was 100% female.

The A321 (G-UZMA) easyJet aircraft is configured in a 235 seating class and is the 308 of the British low-cost carrier fleet.

The aircraft is part of an agreement with Airbus that converted 30 from A320neo aircraft to A321neo, into 2017. The order was placed in 2013, which also covers over 90 of A320neo and 15 A320ceo aircraft.

The first A321neo easyJet will be allocated to the London Gatwick base. It will fly to the most popular destinations such as Malaga, Alicante and Palma de Mallorca. It offers 30% more seats than A320 and 50% more seats than A319.
