Cluj "Avram Iancu" International Airport has announced the launch of four new holiday destinations to Greece and Italy, namely Mykonos, Zakynthos, Crete - Chania and Catania - Sicily, operated by Wizz Air, from Cluj International Airport, in the season summer 2021.

If in recent years, passengers have had the opportunity to travel to Crete - Chania and Zakynthos, through charter flights, Mykonos and Catania are absolute news for Cluj Airport. Cluj "Avram Iancu" International Airport is among the top 5 Wizz Air bases from which flights are launched to the new holiday destination, Mykonos, operated starting today, June 11, with two frequencies per week, on Mondays and Friday.

Also, the flight to Catania, in Sicily, will be operated for the first time starting June 12 and is the 6th destination in Italy to which Wizz Air will fly from Cluj-Napoca, after Milan, Venice, Rome, Bologna and Bari . The flight will be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with two frequencies per week. The four new direct flights launching this weekend are available for sale and will be operated according to the schedule in the following table:
