From September 2019, Wizz Air will inaugurate 4 new routes departing from Timisoara. These are direct flights to Nuremberg, Doncaster, Billund and Baden-Baden.
At the same time, a new Airbus A320 type aircraft will be allocated to the Timișoara base. This will also facilitate the increase of frequencies on current popular routes.
Wizz Air announces 4 new routes from Timisoara
The prices will start from 99 lei / segment, price including a small hand luggage (40x30x20cm).
The new Airbus A320 will join the Wizz Air fleet from Timisoara in September 2019, representing a new WIZZ investment in Romania, of over 100 million USD, and will create 35 new jobs within the company.
With the arrival of the new aircraft in Timișoara, the Wizz Air fleet in Romania will increase at 27 aircraft, of which 3 at the base in Timisoara.
The increase of the fleet will increase the capacity of Wizz Air in Romania by 10,5% compared to the previous period, this reaching to 9,5 millions of places for sale in 2019.
