These days, Air Canada Rouge celebrates 5 years of flights. It debuted on 1 July 2013, operating flights from Toronto and Montreal. It started with a fleet of 4 aircraft (2 x Boeing 767-300ER and 2 x Airbus A319).

At present, the Air Canada Rouge fleet has reached 50 by aircraft, and the operational network has been expanded to 70 from destinations on the 5 continents. Operates flights on 100 routes, initially starting with 14 routes. In the 5 years of flights, Air Canada Rouge carried over 25 millions of passengers.

For the summer of 2018, Air Canada Rouge has launched new routes including Toronto - Bucharest, Montreal - Bucharest, Toronto - Porto, Toronto - Zagreb and Montreal - Lisbon.

Air Canada Rouge has always improved its services on board aircraft. It has upgraded the entertainment system, improved the catering and introduced new dining options at Premium Rouge.
