6 million passengers flew with the Airbus A350 XWB aircraft

On 17 February 2017, Airbus presented a report on the Airbus A350 XWB aircraft in commercial service. In just 2 years since the introduction of this aircraft on commercial flights, over 6 millions of passengers have enjoyed the experience lived on their aircraft and the count continues.

6 million passengers

At the end of December, 2016, those 62 of Airbus A350 XWB aircraft they have accumulated over 154 000 flight hours in the fish 25 000 of flights operated. The average flight time with A350 XWB is 12.5 hours.

Currently, Airbus A350 XWB aircraft can be found in the airlines' fleets: Qatar Airways, Vietnam Airlines, Finnair, LATAM, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Ethiopian Airlines, Thai Airways International (THAI), China Airlines and Lufthansa.

From the A350 XWB family, the A350-900 version is in operation, which can carry up to 325 passengers in a standard configuration with 3 classes. In the second part of this year, Airbus will introduce in the commercial service also the A350-1000 variant, the longest aircraft in the portfolio. It will be able to carry up to 366 passengers in a standard configuration with 3 classes. Both models share the same level of comfort and operational efficiency.
