72 trains will run 24 hours a day

In order to ensure the direct connection between Bucharest North Station and Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport, CFR SA carried out two major railway projects, namely: Doubling of the Mogoşoaia - Baloteşti railway line (contract worth 50,5 million lei, financed from the State Budget) and construction of a new line for the CF connection (in the Odăile area) at the T1 Terminal, Henri Coandă Bucharest International Airport (contract worth 412.719.666 lei, financed from European funds and state budget).

By completing the works included in the two railway investment objectives, the system ensures an increase in the quality of passenger transport services to and from the Airport, by introducing trains with cadence, at an interval of 40 minutes (24h / 24h), but also an advantageous option for shuttle transport between Bucharest North Railway Station and Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport, which will last only 20-23 minutes.

During this period, between CFR SA, administrator of the public railway infrastructure, and the three railway passenger transport operators, which have submitted requests for the provision of the public passenger transport service on this route, the allocation process for the 36 pairs of trains that will run on the line Bucharest North Bucharest - Henri Coanda International Airport Bucharest, following that from December 12, 2020, with the entry into force of the 2020-2021 Train Run, the first trains will run on the direct route North Station - Airport .

"CFR SA carried out two major railway projects"
Is that so? Big? Others build bridges over tens of kilometers of water or tunnels through the mountains, and we connect a European capital to its only airport through "two major railway projects."
    Sad…
