On June 4, 2016, Sirtaki danced in the departure terminal of Mihail Kogălniceanu - Constanța International Airport. After many years of waiting, the route Constanța - Athens - Larnaca was inaugurated.
Constanța - Athens with Blue Air
The Boeing 737-400 (YR-BAR) aircraft landed in Constanța, around 12: 15, arriving from Athens. According to tradition, the plane received the baptism of water cannons. The inaugural event was attended by representatives of the local press, officials from Constanța, but also the Blue Air crew.
For the Greek community in Dobrogea, but also for those who want to discover Athens, this route is an advantage. At the same time, the Coastal - Danube Delta Association together with the management of the Mihail Kogălniceanu International Airport Constanța hopes to attract Greek and Cypriot tourists on the Romanian coast.
