You may be wondering what the connection is Boeing 747-8F and Seahawks. Boeing, one of the world's largest aircraft manufacturers, has been a sponsor of the Seattle Seahawks for more than 10 years, and this year they wanted to come up with a special message of encouragement for their favorite team.

The painted 747-8F aircraft is owned by Boeing and used in flight tests. The special livery includes the Seattle Seahawks logo, and on the vertical tail is painted the number "12" out of respect for the team's fans. The teams in American football, like those in European football, are made up of 11 players plus reserves, and the 12th player on the field is the public.

On January 30, the Boeing 747-8F flew for the first time in the new livery. The BOE12 flight was a more special one. The aircraft took off from the Boeing Field base, flew over Space Needle and CenturyLink Field, Seattle, the home of the Seahawks and then wrote the number "12" in flight, a greeting to Seahawks fans. It is appreciated how Boeing supports this team, even if for some it can mean waste of fuel.
