The aircraft Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (N20904) under United livery successfully made the first flight. The event took place on 19 in August, at which point Boeing began preparing the aircraft for delivery.
The plane took off Paine Field Airport, Everett, Washington, the place where Boeing is based. He flew for 3 hours in the Seattle area, during which pilots tested on-board equipment, safety and security systems, communications systems, backup systems, but also simulated incidents.
Sunday's flight is part of an extensive testing and preparation process for each Boeing 787 aircraft departing from the factory gate and the paint shop. Until delivery to United, an event scheduled for the end of September, the plane will go through a series of tests and ground.
