Boeing closed the 2013 year with record deliveries

Year 2013 was a very good year for many companies in the aviation industry. In spite of financial problems registered in different corners of the planet, the air transport of people has increased. Boeing, one of the world's largest aircraft manufacturers, pulled the line and announced it was closing the year with record deliveries.

Failed to deliver 648 aircraft, the best year in history. At the same time, Boeing recorded gross orders for 1 531 aircraft, of which 1 355 units were net. Of the aircraft delivered, 440 were 737 Next Generation, 98 were Boeing 777 and 65 were 787 Dreamliner.

In 2013, Boeing has maintained its leading position in the two-color aircraft market and announced two new programs: Boeing 777X for which he collected orders of 259 units (Dubai Air Show 2013) and Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, the largest member of the Dreamliner family (Paris Air Show 2013).

For the year 2014, Boeing is preparing to deliver the first Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and will continue to work on the projects 737 MAX, NOTHING-NOTHING Dreamliner and 777 times. Production will continue to grow on the 737. At the end of 2013, Boeing was to deliver 5080 aircraft, a new record for the American company.
