Boeing delivered 137 aircraft in the first quarter of 2012

Boeing presented the first quarter delivery report from 2012. It registered an increase of 32% over the same period of the year 2011. In the first 3 months of this year, Boeing delivered 137 commercial aircraft: 99 Next Generation aircraft, 737 20 aircraft, 777 7 aircraft, 767 5 aircraft and 787 aircraft from the Boeing 6-XNUM series.

From the statistics it appears that there was an increase of the production rate on the 737 model, which advanced from 31.5 to 35 of pieces per month. The US manufacturer hopes that by 2014 production will grow to 42 units per month.

This quarter also marked some important milestones for Boeing, and we presented them at those times:
- At 1000 Boeing 777 arrived at Emirates
- Japan Airlines (JAL) receives the first Boeing 787
- Air France received the 60-Boeing 777-300ER aircraft
- Lion Air placed the largest order in Boeing's history

Boeing wants to deliver 600 aircraft to 2012, of which 85 will be from Boeing 787 and Boeing 747-8 models.
