7 March 2017, the date when the first Boeing 737 MAX 9 was unveiled. We like to write history in commercial aviation. The event took place at Boeing Base in Renton, Washington.
737 MAX 9 is the second member of the Boeing 737 MAX family. It can carry up to 220 passengers, with a flight range of up to 6 500 kilometers. Propulsion will be provided by 2 CFM International LEAP-1B engines.

The aircraft will begin ground tests and engines will be started. After completing these tests, 737 MAX 9 will proceed to the next test step, which will be performed in flight. It will debut in commercial service in 2018. The younger brother, the Boeing 737 MAX 8 will enter commercial service starting in the second quarter of this year.
After 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9, the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft family will be enriched with two more members: 737 MAX 7 (the smallest in the family) and 737 MAX 200 (the largest capacity aircraft in the MAX family).
Since the announcement of the new 737 MAX aircraft, Boeing has been ordering 3600 aircraft from 83 from customers around the world.
