According to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the UK imposes a 14-day isolation for those traveling from Spain. The decision by the UK authorities comes after Spain reported more than 900 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday. And Spanish officials fear the new wave, which is about to invade Spain. Let's not forget that some regions of Spain have already been closed for the second time.

From July 26, all those who will travel from Spain to the UK will have to stay in solitary confinement for 14 days. Including those who will travel from the Balearic and Canary Islands. They will have to provide their contact details and isolation point.

At the same time, the FCO does not recommend that British tourists shorten their holidays in Spain. This means that flights between the two countries will not be affected yet.

At the moment, Spain has open borders for EU countries, the United Kingdom and the Schengen countries. But anyone traveling to Spain must follow a few rules.

That being said, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to expand on wave 2.
