British Airways suspended flights and disrupted the airline's operations at Gatwick Airport during the lockdown in England.

After The United Kingdom has announced its entry into the second lockdown, BA had to revise its flight schedule for November. The company's representatives announced that only the repatriation and transport flights of the essential products will be performed.

The new restrictions, which apply from 5 November to 2 December, prohibit non-essential international travel for UK residents. Residents can only travel for studies, in the interest of work, to solve legal problems or in exceptional cases.

Passengers affected by these changes will be able to request a refund or will be able to book another flight at no additional cost. Customers will also be able to receive a travel voucher that they can use at a later date.

Airlines are reacting to the second lockdown in the UK. Most domestic and international flights have been canceled. These will be resumed in early December, if the situation allows.
