Brussels Airlines has announced the resumption of flights from its base in Brussels from 15 June 2020. Based on market demand and travel restrictions, Brussels Airlines will offer a reduced and adapted summer program, which will consist of about 30% of the initial summer program.

Between June 15 and August 31, Brussels Airlines will gradually add destinations to the flight network to reach 59 destinations in 33 countries in Europe, Africa and the USA.

From June 15, Brussels Airlines will relaunch its flight operations after a 12-week hiatus. Based on demand and travel restrictions, the Belgian carrier has set up a limited network for the summer season, which will include holiday and business destinations.

In Europe, Brussels Airlines will fly to 45 destinations in 20 countries, including Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy, France and Denmark. On the long-haul network, Brussels Airlines (subject to local government approval) will fly to 13 of the 17 African destinations, but also to New York JFK. A new destination, which was planned for March, will join the network in 2021: Montreal in Canada.

In preparation for the relaunch of flights, Brussels Airlines is implementing new measures to protect crews and passengers during the journey, such as additional disinfection of the aircraft and the obligation to wear masks.
