Wizz Air today announces the start of its operations at Athens International Airport.

From Romania, Wizz Air will offer, starting with 25 March 2018, flights to the Greek capital of Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca. Tickets for the newest destination are already on sale on wizzair.com, with prices starting from 39 rum / segment.

With the launch of these new flights, Wizz Air reaches operations that add to Romania 143 routes from 10 airports to 21 countries.

Also from the 2018 summer season, Wizz Air will open new routes from Athens to: Budapest, Sofia, Kutaisi, Katowice, Vilnius and Chisinau.

    I don't know if you've seen this:


    I mean Aegean on Cluj-Athens, announced at the same time with the Wizz. It is fair that it will only be seasonal, while the Wizz seems permanent. But it opens the door to islands and more obscure locations, where the charter does not reach (and Romani Manelists would complete me). You can edit or publish my comment, I don't mind 🙂
