Starting today, May 27, Bulgaria lifts all restrictions for tourists in Romania. Romanian citizens can travel from Romania to Bulgaria through all border checkpoints, WITHOUT the need to provide a document with the result of a PCR / antigen test, a vaccination certificate or a positive result attesting to the disease in the last 90 days.

Bulgaria is also on Romania's green list, which means that Romanian tourists can return to the country without having to present a PCR test, proof of the vaccine and no quarantine is required.

The same order approved by Bulgaria temporarily prohibits the entry into Bulgaria of persons traveling from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, the Maldives, Brazil and African countries and territories.
