Cathay Pacific - changes to some flights from the winter season 2012 - 2013

Cathay Pacific, an air operator based at Hong Kong International Airport, has announced some changes to the flight schedule for the winter season 2012-2013.

Most of the changes will come into effect from September 2012, and others will not be excluded in the future.

Hong Kong - Los Angeles - from 1 September 2012, CX884 / 885 flights will be operated with the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft configured in 3 classes, but without First Class
Hong Kong - Paris CDG - from September 1, 2012, CX261 / 260 flights will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER. Premium Economy Class will be available on x246 between September 1, 2012 - October 27, 2012 and daily after October 28, 2012

Hong Kong - San Francisco - from 1 September 2012, CX872 / 873 flights will be operated with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft configured in 4 classes.
Hong Kong - Vancouver - from September 16, 2012, the CX838 / 837 flights will be operated on days 357 with Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in 3 classes, without First Class. Economy Premium class will be sold as Economy!
Hong Kong - London Heathrow - CX257 / 256 flights will be operated with Airbus A340-300 aircraft

In winter, Cathay Pacific will reduce the number of flights on the route Hong Kong - Roma, from daily flights to 5 per week. Flights CX293 / CX292 will be operated with Airbus A340-300 aircraft.

Cathay Pacific is a founding member of the Oneworld Alliance, together with American Airlines, British Airways, Canadian Airlines and Qantas.
