Cluj International Airport announces the launch of a new route to Italy, respectively Perugia, operated by the airline Wizz Air. Cluj – Perugia flights will be operated for the first time starting from December 14, 2022. It will be the 9th destination in Italy to which Wizz Air will fly from Cluj-Napoca, after Bari, Bologna, Catania-Sicilia, Milan-Bergamo, Rome -Ciampino, Venice-Treviso, respectively Turin and Naples (from August 3, 2022). Italy thus remains among the top destination countries preferred by Cluj International Airport passengers.
Direct flights to Perugia will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays, and tickets are available for sale starting today, July 28, 2022.
Perugia is a city in the Umbria region of central Italy, near the Tiber River. The airport is located approximately 12 kilometers from Perugia, a beautiful medieval city with Gothic palaces and jazz cafes, where ancient stone alleys meet 1308th century promenades.
