Croatian Defense Minister resigns after Croatian Air Force training plane crashes

Croatia's defense minister resigned on Thursday after an air force training plane crashed in the country's southwest. The two occupants of the plane died instantly.

Damir Krsticevic said he was resigning after the increase in military aviation incidents and accidents in Croatia. Another Croatian military aircraft, a helicopter, crashed three months ago, killing two pilots.
