Estonia closes airspace to Russian airlines

The Minister of Economy of the Republic informs that from today, February 26, the airspace will be closed for Russian aircraft.

"Putin's brutal attack on Ukrainian democracy and freedom is unforgivable. The West must isolate Russia both economically and politically. Estonia bans Russian airlines from entering its airspace. Poland and the Czech Republic have already done so, and we call on all European Union countries to do so. " Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas wrote on Facebook.

Previous, The Czech Republic and Poland have made the same decision, followed by Bulgaria, which in turn closed the airspace.
