Roger Morin, a young aviator trained at the Blériot School in Pau, made the first non-stop flight from Pau to Toulouse on February 27, 1911 and made several flights over Toulouse. During his reception in the city center, at the town hall, he was recognized as the first aviator to reach Toulouse by plane.

A success that Morin, belonging to the Blériot school, now has on his list and which he achieved thanks to a magnificent flight. The flight started from Pau to Toulouse, without a stopover, the pilot passing through Tarbes, Lannemezan, Montréjeau, Saint-Gaudens and Muret.

Departing from Pont-Long airfield and heading for the Polygone de Toulouse, a 196-kilometer flight that Roger Morin will cover in 1 hour and 40 minutes, his plane reaching an average speed of 117 km / h.
