Officially, from January 14, France will lift travel restrictions for vaccinated citizens in the UK. Thus, from tomorrow, all passengers in the UK who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 will be able to enter France without having to provide a valid reason.

"Relaxing conditions for entry into France for vaccinated travelers from the UK", Secretary of State for Tourism Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne wrote today on his official Twitter account.

The decision to relax the travel rules for the British was also confirmed by the Swiss-born French-British politician Alexandre Holroyd. He thanked the Prime Minister, Jean Castex, the Secretary of State for Tourism, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, and the Secretary of State for EU Affairs, Clement Beaune, for listening to his request and removing the essential travel rules for British citizens.

"Relaxation of the rules of entry into France from January 14 for vaccinated people! Thank you, Jean Castex, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne and Clement Beaune, for your responsiveness and for listening to my requests. " Holroyd wrote.

Previously, travelers from the United Kingdom were only allowed to enter France if they had good reason to travel. However, under the new rules, all those who wanted to visit famous destinations in France will now be able to do so.
