Travelers from other countries who plan to visit Hungary are no longer required to comply with the entry rules. The Hungarian authorities have decided to remove all restrictions that have been imposed to limit the spread of COVID-19.

The Hungarian government has announced that all arriving travelers, regardless of country of origin, are no longer required to present a vaccination or recovery certificate. In addition, they are also exempted from presenting a negative result of the COVID-19 test taken before entry.

This means that anyone will now be allowed to enter Hungary without restrictions, as long as they have other valid travel documents, in this case a passport or visa for those who cannot enter the country without a visa.

Tourism experts believe that repealing the entry rules will help Hungary attract more tourists and boost the country's economy. The country is expected to see an increase in visitors in the coming months.

With the exception of the lifting of entry rules for incoming passengers, Hungary has also removed most of the national restrictions on COVID-19. Tourists, as well as Hungarian citizens, are no longer required to present a vaccination or recovery permit when going to restaurants, bars, cafes, museums, theaters, cinemas, shopping malls and other events.

The country's authorities have also decided to remove the obligation to wear a mask when in various enclosures, including public transport.
