To stop the spread of the virus, the Israeli government made the decision to tighten access conditions in Israel for 14 days.
Starting today, Thursday, March 12, 2020, 20:00 pm, the Israeli customs authorities will allow access to the country only to those persons who will prove that they can enter self-isolation at home for 14 days from the time of entry into Israel. Self-isolation at home cannot be done in a hotel or guesthouse, but only in a private home. The measure applies to persons of any nationality / nationality.
Israel has tightened access conditions
Tourists already in Israel will normally spend their stay until the end of it.
Beginning tonight, at 20:00 pm, only citizens of Israel or tourists who can demonstrate that they can comply with the quarantine procedure at home for 14 days will be allowed access to the territory of the State of Israel. For example, people who have relatives or family may enter Israel. All land customs points are also closed.
