Kenya Airways has acquired the first Boeing 777-300ER

Kenya Airways has big plans for the next 10 years. He will take on two more 777-300ER and is likely to discuss a new lease. As part of strategic plan called "Project Mawingu", the Nairobi-based airline intends to increase the size of the fleet from 44 to 107 and the operational network from 62 to 115, to 2021. Currently, the airline operates a long-haul fleet consisting of Boeing aircraft (four 777-200ER and six 767-300ER). It also owns 9 Boeing 787 aircraft.

Kenya Airways currently has 25 of Boeing aircraft (737, 777, 767) in its fleet and flies to 62 from destinations in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Europe.
