KLM transported two Giant Panda bears

Xing Ya and Wen Wu are two Giant Panda Bears! They flew aboard a Boeing 747-400 KLM combi.

On 13 April 2017, two giant Panda bears they landed in Amsterdam. They traveled from China to the Netherlands, aboard one KLM Boeing 747-400 combi. Their final destination was Zoo Ouwehands Dierenpark, where they are spoiled in a specially arranged place.

The aircraft Boeing 747-400 KLM, on KL0892 flight, was greeted at Schiphol International Airport, Amsterdam, by the "Follow me" cars and a KLM Panda Bus. The bears were transferred to the KLM animal hotel, where they had a special reception ceremony.

One of the fields of activity of KLM Cargo is the transport of animals in the best conditions. KLM is one of the few airlines with its own pet hotel, which is developed at Schiphol Airport.

For KLM, this was the 4th flight with pandas on board, but the first from China to the Netherlands. The transportation of the bears Xing Ya and Wen Wu emphasizes the good relations between China and the Netherlands, but also between China and KLM. KLM and its Chinese carrier carriers operate 70 weekly flights on the Amsterdam-China route.
