Korean Air will fly on the route Seoul - Budapest, from October 3!

Budapest Airport is pleased to announce a very important new route in the long haul network. Korean Air, the national carrier of South Korea, will operate a weekly service to Budapest starting October 3.

The frequency of flights will increase to two weekly flights from the end of October until the end of the winter season 2022. Afterwards, the airline is to increase the frequency of flights to three times a week, the route between the two capitals being operated with Boeing 787- 9 Dreamliners.

Korean Air will compete with LOT Polish Airlines, which flies between Seoul and Budapest with a frequency of two weekly flights. Thus, the Hungarian capital continues to strengthen its connections with Asia, after Air China resumed flights from Budapest to Beijing.
