Max Verstappen won the Grand Prix of formula 1 from Saudi Arabia, March 27, 2022. Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz complete the podium. Lewis Hamilton finished in 10th place, last in points.

Between the world title champion, Max Verstappen, and the Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, a real rivalry seems to be emerging in the 2022 Formula One season. As in the first stage in Bahrain, the two were involved in a spectacular duel for victory. This time, the Dutchman won the case.

Saudi Arabia's Formula One Grand Prix

Sergio Perez did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. Checo kept his position in front of Charles Leclerc. His teammate Max Verstappen also had a perfect start, succeeding to overtake Carlos Sainz and move to third place.

On lap 16, Latifi hit the parapet, and the safety car went on the circuit for five laps. Leclerc, Verstappen and Sainz entered the pits and switched to the hard drive, overtaking Sergio Perez who entered the pit just before the incident involving Latifi. The Canadian had to give up, but fortunately he is fine.

Tours 36-38 provided truly unimaginable images. In the three laps, no less than three pilots gave up. The engines on the cars of Fernand Alonso and Daniel Ricciardo, and the two cars were stuck on the track, and Valtteri Bottas did not leave the pits. He drove behind the safety car until lap 41.

After the replay we had an exceptional tournament between Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen, concluded in favor of the Dutchman. The reigning world champion overtook the Monegasque in lap 47 and secured his first victory of the season.
