As part of preparations for the summer season, Norwegian has begun recruiting more than 150 cabin crew members to be based at Helsinki Airport, Finland. Norwegian needs about 100 flight attendants and 50 pilots to fly to the 27 most popular destinations in Europe served from Helsinki Airport.

The newly hired crew will start working continuously in the coming months - March, April and May - as they follow the necessary training before they can receive the passengers on board. It initially needs 150 members for the Norwegian base in Helsinki, which closed in April 2020.

Since June 2021 and since the first lifting of travel restrictions, the employment rate has been raised in Norwegian, and the company has reopened bases in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim.

In March 2022, Norwegian serves 14 routes from Helsinki to HEL, including the two domestic routes to Oulo and Rovaniemi. During the summer season, Norwegian will gradually expand by almost doubling the number of available routes to a total of 27 of the most popular destinations in Europe, directly from Helsinki Airport.
