The low-cost carrier sued Boeing in July 2020 for "gross negligence, fraud and breach of contract", an action related to both 737 MAX and 787 aircraft. The company canceled the order for the 97 placed aircraft to Boeing in June 2020, but data released by Boeing shows that those Norwegian orders are still active.
