The National Committee for Emergency Situations periodically updates the list of countries / areas / territories of high epidemiological risk for which the quarantine measure is established on the persons arriving in Romania from them.

Romania's yellow list has been updated

Romania's latest yellow list was updated on April 8, 2021. According to the list, Puerto Rico and the Isle of Man have entered. As we anticipated, this week there are no major changes regarding Romania's yellow list. But pay close attention to the Maldives, Greece, Lithuania, as the epidemiological index is growing close to that of Romania.

Romania updates the yellow list in accordance with the epidemiological indices issued by ECDC (European Center for Disease Prevention and Control). The list will also be published on INSP official website. The current list will enter into force 24 hours after its approval by CNSU.

To avoid questions, the countries Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy remain on the yellow list, which means that a PCR test is needed to travel to Romania, plus a 10-day quarantine in the country. Greece, Germany, the United Kingdom remain in the green zone, which means that no PCR test is needed to travel to Romania.
