Romania extends the alert status for another 30 days, from December 9, 2021

CNSU adopted Decision no. 112 of December 7, 2021 on the proposal to extend the state of alert and the measures necessary to be applied during it to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is proposed to extend the alert status throughout the national territory, for a period of 30 days, starting with 09.12.2021.

At the same time, a number of changes have been proposed to prevent and control infections during the alert period. These can be read below. Romania eliminates night lockdown for unvaccinated!

Proposed infection prevention and control measures to be applied during the alert period

The measures proposed in this decision take effect only in the event of their approval by normative acts of the Government or, as the case may be, of the heads of ministries or central public administration bodies.
