Ryanair opens base in Budapest airport

1 782

After Malev stopped working, there was a big void at the Budapest airport. Low-cost airline Ryanair takes advantage of the situation and will open a base in the Hungarian capital. If all goes well, from 17 February the Irish company will honor 31 flights to / from Budapest. It will start with 4 Boeing 737-800 aircraft, and ticket prices will vary from 9.99 EUR to 49,99 EUR.

The situation in Hungary does not leave much room for negotiations, and the authorities are forced to accept certain conditions imposed by Ryanair. Plus, the new airline will employ pilots, flight attendants and engineers from Malev.
