Due to the new restrictions imposed by the authorities from all over Europe, RYANAIR is forced to postpone the launch of the flights from Oradea. Initial, flights were scheduled to begin in December 2020, but they were rescheduled to debut in late February 2021.

But the route configuration will not change. RYANAIR will open 4 routes from Oradea: London Stansted, Milan Bergamo, Bologna and Dusseldorf Weeze.

Oradea City Hall and Ryanair confirm the postponement of flights from Oradea:

Oradea City Hall together with the Ryaniar company announces that, given the current situation generated by the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions imposed (quarantine) on arrival in Romania and other countries, the decision was taken to postpone the start of flights from Oradea for the last week of February 2021.

We remind you that, starting with December 2020, Ryanair would have operated 4 international flights, with two frequencies per week for each destination. The destinations are: London (Stansted), Milan (Bergamo), Bologna and Dusseldorf (Weeze).

As such situations were foreseen in the signed financing contract, the 12-month period assumed in the contract is not affected, it coming into force from the end of February.

Regarding the mentioned financing contract, we remind you that RYANAIR will receive subsidies from Oradea airport to operate the 4 routes, money approved by the European Commission.
