Spain has introduced on the red list several regions in Romania! Here are the new conditions for traveling to Spain!

From September 13, the SOUTH-WEST OLTENIA, SOUTH-MUNTENIA, SOUTH-EAST and NORTH-EAST regions of ROMANIA enter the RED LIST. The areas BUCHAREST-ILFOV, NORTH-WEST and WEST remain on the red list. The central area of ​​Romania, more precisely the Sibiu Airport area, remains on the green list. This means that from 13 September, new travel conditions will be applied.

All passengers embarking from the airports - Otopeni, Cluj, Timisoara, Arad, Satu-Mare, Oradea, Craiova, Constanta, Bacau, Iasi, Suceava - to Spain must present:

  • the European digital certificate attesting as the case may be: vaccination with complete scheme OR post-Covid recovery OR negative result in a PCR test performed in the last 72 hours before the trip OR negative result in an ANTIGEN test performed in the last 48 hours before the trip;
  • the electronic form completed in the Spain Travel Health application or on the website www.spth.gob.es.

Minors under the age of 12 are exempted from presenting the European digital certificate, but the obligation for an adult to complete the electronic form remains.

For those traveling from Sibiu Airport, it is enough to fill in the electronic form www.spth.gob.es.

Romanian citizens who choose the Canary Islands as a holiday destination must present a PCR test or antigen test upon arrival at the hotel, tests performed at most 72 hours before the time of accommodation. The test is mandatory for all those over 6 years of age. Those who present a complete vaccination certificate or a medical certificate showing that they have been cured of Covid-19 in the last 6 months are exempted from presenting the tests.
