Tunisian officials have confirmed the lifting of travel restrictions for those who are fully vaccinated or have undergone the disease at least six weeks before the date of departure. They will no longer have to isolate themselves upon entering Tunisian territory or show a negative PCR test result.

Vaccinated British travelers will need to present an official NHS certificate confirming that they have received both doses of the vaccine. Also, all those who want to travel to Tunisia and who have gone through the disease, will have to present a medical certificate issued by the competent health authorities.

Tunisia will remove travel restrictions for those vaccinated.

All other travelers over the age of 12 must have a negative PCR test, performed 72 hours before traveling to Tunisia, and isolate themselves for a period of seven days. The rapid tests will continue to be performed upon arrival, and those who will show positive results will have to be quarantined in dedicated centers.

There are exceptions to this rule. Travelers will be able to avoid self-isolation if they are part of an organized trip. They will have to stay in their group, using pre-booked transport and accommodation, and follow the official Covid-19 protocols.

The new travel rules will take effect this week.
