The beginning of the year comes with new routes. Starting with 2 January 2016, LOT Polish Airlines started operating flights on route Warsaw - Chisinau. The first LOT aircraft from Warsaw to Chisinau operated the inaugural flight on 02 in January, and the passengers served champagne and were given a special opening announcement. The Warsaw-Chisinau route now resumed, is the only direct link between the Republic of Moldova and Poland.
The reopened service from Chisinau to Warsaw gives passengers access to numerous flights to almost 60 from departures from Warsaw Chopin Airport, the host of LOT: Chicago, New York, Toronto, Stockholm, Vilnius, Moscow, Copenhagen, Brussels, London, Amsterdam , Geneva, Dusseldorf or Hamburg. To date, no other airline has had such a complex offer of products and transit connections through a comfortable and modern airport such as Warsaw, where LOT offers connection time to European destinations of at least 35 minutes! LOT also connects Chisinau with many Polish cities: Gdansk, Krakow, Rzeszow, Szczecin, Poznan, Wroclaw or Katowice!
LOT honors Warsaw - Chisinau flights with modern Bombardier Q400 aircraft. There are 4 weekly flights, according to the following schedule: take-off to Warsaw is scheduled at 14:40 (Mondays and Fridays) and 17:55 (Tuesdays and Saturdays). From the summer season, LOT will operate daily flights on the Warsaw-Chisinau route!
At the same time, the start of 2016 also comes with other destinations in the LOT network: Zurich, Yerevan, Dusseldorf, Chisinau, Belgrade and Barcelona.
