Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), the national operator of Switzerland, part of the Lufthansa group, will launch the Zurich-Kiev route on October 27, 2013. The flights will be operated with 320-seat Airbus A152 aircraft. In other words, SWISS resumes flights to the Ukrainian capital after a 10-year hiatus.
Daily flights will be operated according to the following schedule:
LX2290 ZRH 09: 45 - 13: 20 KBP 320 D
LX2291 KBP 14: 10 - 15: 00 ZRH 320 D
Kiev will be the 8 destination in Eastern Europe after: Warsaw, Prague, Budapest, Belgrade, Bucharest, Moscow and St. Petersburg.
SWISS will also open the transcontinental route Zurich-Singapore, from 12 to 2013.
