On Friday, August 11th, DHC-16-8 SafariLink (200Y-SLM) was damaged by antelope at Kichwa Tembo Airstrip. The aviation incident did not result in casualties.

The aircraft operates a scheduled flight on the route Nairobi-Wilson Airport (WIL / HKNW) - Kichwa Tembo Airstrip. As the aircraft prepared to land, the animals began to run on the runway. The plane hit them with its left wheel, which broke the landing gear. And after the touchdown, the propeller of engine 1, on the left side, also suffered.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, but 2 Wildebeest wild animals died as a result of the impact.
