The new Board of Directors of TAROM has been appointed!

The Romanian National Air Transport Company – TAROM welcomes the appointment of the new Board of Directors, following the decision of the General Meeting of Shareholders. The appointment of the Board of Directors with conventional four-year mandates is a measure that marks the return to normality for the company's activity. It also creates the prerequisites for stability necessary for the implementation of the restructuring plan approved by the European Commission, aimed at ensuring TAROM a solid track record in respecting the commitments made towards the traveling public, who benefit from the company's services, and towards the institutions involved in the approval and verification of the Plan .

Following the completion of the selection procedure, the General Meeting of Shareholders approved with a majority of votes the appointment as administrator in the TAROM Board of Directors, starting on 15.06.2024, for Boagiu Anca Daniela, Bârcă Iuliana Cristina, Săsarman Monica, Iordache Costin Ionuț, Marcu Mirel Alexandru, Ursu Mihaita and Idolu Iulian Daniel. Following the regulations on the corporate governance of public enterprises (GEO 109/2011), the AGM establishes 4-year mandates for the appointed administrators, with a gross fixed monthly allowance in the amount of 12.500 lei, only if its amount falls within the approved Revenue and Expenditure Budget of the company.

In the next period, the company's priorities are related to the implementation of the recovery plan to ensure the sustainable economic operation of the company, strengthening TAROM's position in the air transport sector and offering quality services to our passengers.
