On November 3, the first Boeing 737 MAX 8 Air China was delivered. The aircraft is configured in 2 classes: 8 seats in Business Class and 168 seats in Economy Class.
Air China is the first Chinese company with Boeing 737 MAX 8 in the fleet. And by the end of next year, about 100 of 737 MAX aircraft will be delivered to airlines in China.

The partnership between Boeing and Air China dates from 1970. Currently, the Air China fleet comprises 7 x Boeing 747-8i, 26 x 777-300ER, 11 x 787-9 Dreamliner and above 140 x 737 Next-Generation.
The 737 MAX incorporates the latest technologies from CFM International LEAP-1B engines, Advanced Technology winglets, Boeing Sky Interior and other enhancements to provide efficiency, reliability and comfort for airlines and passengers.
The Boeing 737 MAX aircraft family has gained the confidence of airline operators very quickly, accumulating orders for 3 900 from 92 aircraft from customers around the world.
