A 30-year-old woman from Pelham Court, Leeds, was arrested at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2 while waiting to board a flight to Dubai. It happened on October 3, the Border Force of the United Kingdom announced.

Hanlon Country was stopped at London Heathrow Airport Terminal 2, around 20:00, while waiting to board a flight to Dubai. The reason is amazing!

Border Force officers found £ 1,9 million in five suitcases, the largest amount of money discovered on a passenger in 2020.

Chris Philp, a Conservative MP and immigration minister, said: "This is the largest cash confiscation since 2020, which was found on a person at the border. I am pleased with the efforts of the Border Force officers".

Hanlon has been charged with money laundering by the Uxbridge Magistrates' Court. She was remanded in custody until the next deadline set by the court, on November 5. Along with Tara Hanlon, a 28-year-old accomplice was also arrested.
