Accent Travel, one of the most important travel agencies in Romania, launched Accent Shop (www.accentshop.ro), a new brand and a new B2B platform dedicated to tourism professionals.

The peculiarity of Accent Shop is the integration of the mode Travel Fusion with access to the reservation system of the low cost airlines, thus the users having a greater variety of options.

The new brand is associated with the advanced booking system (Travel Booking Systems), front office, which integrates the largest travel service providers in the market, offering users access to services for flights, hotels, cruises, car rental, insurance and travel packages. . The platform integrates three modules: Airplane, Hotels (over 300.000 worldwide hotels, all destinations in a single system, real-time vouchers, etc.) and Packages (places allocated on the coast, in the resorts, mountain and agro-tourism, charters , document generation etc).

Starting in July, the platform will operate under the brand name Accent Shop, while also offering access to the Travel Fusion module, to Accent Travel partner agencies.

"Accent Shop is a tool dedicated to travel agencies. Through the platform, they can reserve the full range of tourist services online. The sales platform is the place where searches and reservations are made through resellers (B2B) - they can authenticate, perform searches on the criteria they set, manage reservations.

We have invested over 50.000 euros in this project, which is in addition to the approximately 500.000 euros allocated in recent years for investments in technology, which is why we intend to promote Accent Shop and in the external markets with which we already have contacts, ”says Lucian Boronea .

Accent Travel & Events was launched in 1999 and is one of the largest travel agencies in Romania. Since 2009, the agency has been affiliated with Egencia, part of Expedia, the world's largest tourism group, with sales of over $ 4 billion globally. For the year 2014, Accent Travel & Events recorded a turnover of approximately 10 million.
