Aegean Airlines supports the return of tourism to Greece. Opens 3 new bases in Corfu, Santorini and Mykonos.

To facilitate the relaunch of tourism, Aegean will develop its operational network with new routes in the Greek regions. Between 17 and 20 planes will operate direct flights from 7 regional bases, on a total of 65 international routes.

Also, another 50 routes will be served by aircraft dedicated to charter operations. Thus, the total number of routes, which will be operated from popular destinations in Greece, will reach 100.

From its bases in Thessaloniki, Heraklion, Rhodes and Chania, but also from the announced bases in Corfu, Santorini and Mykonos, Aegean will operate 33 new routes. Thus, between 17 and 20 aircraft will be used exclusively in regional destinations in Greece.

At the same time, Athens remains the main hub for Aegean Airlines, with 37-40 aircraft, linking the capital to the main destinations in the Greek islands.

International flights from regional bases will start in May and June 2021. They can already be booked, and the airline offers benefits and discounts for early flight booking.
