A new bus line, called AeroBus, will connect Henri Coanda Airport and Unirii Square. The line will be served by ten state-of-the-art buses that, at an interval of 20 minutes, will travel through the metropolitan area at an increased speed, given the small number of stations:

  • Henri Coanda Airport Arrivals;
  • Free Press Square;
  • Victoriei square;
  • Romanian market;
  • University;
  • Union square.

The buses will be painted in easily visible colors, to stand out among other transport and airport vehicles, will be marked separately and will offer increased comfort to passengers, both for seating and generous space, specially delimited, for luggage storage .

Access will be easy for all categories of passengers and luggage. The buses will be equipped with a minimum bilingual passenger information system (in Romanian and English), USB sockets for charging electronic devices in each row of seats, air conditioning, air conditioning.

The degree of pollution of the new buses will be in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulation of the community service of local public passenger transport, in the Bucharest - Ilfov region".

The duration of the contract will be ten years, and the operation of this line will be the responsibility of an operator chosen through a competitive procedure, based on a new contract for the delegation of the public transport service, writes Agerpres.

Excellent news, considering that the Express lines operated by STB have many stations, the buses are classic and without special modifications for luggage, and the duration of a trip between Henri Coandă Airport and Unirii Square is very long.
