Aeroflot, one of the largest carriers in Russia, received the 100th Airbus - a A330-300. The aircraft is powered by two engines Rolls-Royce Trent 700. It has a capacity of 296 seats and is configured in two classes - 28 in business and 268 in economy class. The aircraft will be operated on medium and long flights.
Aeroflot was the first company in Russia to operate Airbus A310 aircraft since 1992, Airbus A320s since 2003 and Airbus A330s since 2008. It currently has 100 Airbus aircraft in its fleet - 79 from the A320 family and 21 from the A330 family.
