Starting with 27 October 2014, Aeroflot will open the route Moscow Sheremetyevo - Chisinau, after 20 years after the service was suspended. The route will be operated daily on board the Airbus A320 aircraft, following the following schedule:

SU1844 SVO 00: 05 - 00: 20 KIV 320 D
DON'T KIV 1845: 02 - 20: 06 SVO 30 D

With 20 years ago, in April 1994, Aeroflot operated the last flight on the Moscow - Chisinau route. One year later, in November 1995, operated the last flight on the St. Petersburg - Chisinau.

Considering the conflict situation in Ukraine, the opening of the Moscow - Chisinau route seems a bit strange. Why now? Maybe because the Republic of Moldova is on the border with Ukraine, but also with the EU.
